P-Shot

What is the P-Shot?

The P-Shot is a safe and effective treatment for improving erections and orgasms in men. The injection is made up solely of PRP, which is a blood product Dr. Kodoma creates from your own blood.

PRP is rich in proteins and growth factors that promote healing and the production of new cells. Growth factors refer to specialized proteins that recruit and activate stem cells, or blank cells, that heals and regenerates genital tissue to improve the health, circulation, and strength of your penis.

The P-Shot is recommended for men experiencing erectile dysfunction who don’t want to or can’t take medication.

How does the P-Shot work?

The P-Shot improves erections and orgasms by improving blood flow to the penis. There are a number of physical conditions that cause ED and often lead to a decrease in blood flow to your penis.

The proteins in the injection restore and rejuvenate your blood vessels to improve flow and pleasure. These proteins may also stimulate the growth of new tissue and increase penis size.

What can I expect during the procedure?

Dr. Kodoma begins the procedure by taking a small amount of blood from your arm, which is placed in a special centrifuge to separate the platelets and growth factors from the other components of your blood.

A local anesthetic is given so you don’t feel any pain and the P-Shot is injected into your the shaft of your penis. The entire procedure takes about 30 minutes.

What happens after the P-Shot?

There’s no downtime following the injection and you should be able to enjoy the effects of the P-Shot almost immediately. To enhance the results, Dr. Kodoma provides you with a penis pump to help circulate the PRP.

Side effects, including pain, after the injection is rare but some men report swelling or redness at the site of the injection, but this disappears within a day.

The P-Shot is not a permanent solution for ED, but it can improve your performance for up to a year. To increase the longevity of the procedure, Dr. Kodoma recommends:

  • Exercising regularly
  • Eating a healthy diet
  • Stopping smoking
  • Reducing alcohol intake

Dr. Kodoma also offers booster shots every three to six months as needed.
